Listen to Your Heart
By D.H.T.
Listen to Your Heart <--it's such a pretty song
see related
^ Yeah... Listen to Your Heart... is such a pretty song. And whoa... got home not too long ago... APUSH freakin test was hard as CRAPPPPPPPPPPPPPP. Yeah, definitely bombed that one. Second MP just started though... so... I can bring my grade up. Physics benchmark actually wasn't that hard... Like I said... I had good teachers *cough* Ryan, Kelly and Amie *cough*. Except... definitely screwed up the first BCR. Oh well. AHHHHHHHHH definitely forgot THE OC was onnnnnnnnnnnnnnn tonight!!!!!!!!!!  Heck yeah!! Speaking of tv... FREAKING LOST LAST NIGHT!?!?!?? asdojq309warusd;li OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!! So amazing. Definitely talked to Fawna and Joe about that one at lunch. Oh yeah... and now at lunch everyone tries to steal my food. =p Spanish... worked on our debatesssss... Erin and I are getting together this weekend to work on them some more... I think. AHAHAAAAAAAA then Erin and I tie Tito's shoe laces together. ahhaaaaaa and Ryan came and helped us. Omg, we tied them together like 20394823049 times 23049723 different ways. ahahaa it was great. Especially when he tried to walk.  Seminar... ahahahahaaaaa so kids like... always fall asleep... mainly Bob, Brandon and Eric... so Mr.Hall writes them notes... they said: "Top secret! Hi, if you don't pick your head up off your desk and stay awake then you can join me for a detention on Thursday from 2-3!!" They were 203984230948 times funnier than that... but that's basically what they said. haha. Then BANDDDDD!! WOOOOOT I can play the clarinet now, score! Well, I can't reach notes higher than A yet... (the A in the middle of the staff)... and below a C (the lower one) I kinda forget the fingerings... but... whatever, I'm doing alright. Played like... half of Greensleeves... heck yeah!!!!!!!! And we had band pictures after school... and like everyoneeeeeee was like, "THE PHOTOGRAPHER LOOKS LIKE CLAY!!" EXCEPT HE DIDN'TTTTTTT... he was a skinny white guy... with brown hair. Face structure = completely different. And his hair was way short and thin. And his eyes were a bright blue, not green. =p And now... I've found something out. Y yo tengo miedo. Tengo mucho miedo.

--edit--LOSTTTTTTT!!! FINALLY!!!!!!!! Anyway... was talking to this kid in art about this show. Oh yeah... had another story time with Karen and Corey today. Karen brought Kids Chex Mix. One of the pieces was shaped like a wand! haha it was sweet. And Ryan... lmao I just remembered the comment you left me........... and then I reread what I just wrote. hahaaaaaaaaaaa. Anyway... CATS Advisory today... pretty lame. Except we didn't even do the lesson... just talked, nice. Yeah, so... Lost is back on, I gotta go. OMGGGGGGGG LOST IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!  --end edit--

aksje9aw4eur I don't even know what to say. Not feeling very Nicole-ish though. Eh. Long story. Been kinda venting a little on myspace.  I'm mad, upset, and... I think I might just be sick. Lovely, no? I never get sick... I haven't been sick since like... the seventh grade. Yeah. I feel kinda like my insides/emotions are all tied up in knots... and I don't know why. Anyway... just realized... my birthday's on a B DAY!!!!!!!!  I thought it was on an A day, because that's what the agenda thing says... but on the A day/B day schedule thingy... it has January 2nd as a B day... and we don't go back until my birthday... the third. Yeahhhhhhhh. So... my birthday's gonna be on a B day. SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET.

--edit--Definitely forgot about the best part of my day. This freaking morning. So... I had to talk to Karen... and we went into the storage room... and then she tells me her story... so we're having a little story time in the storage room... haha. And so then Corey comes in... and is like... hiding because some girl was gonna ask him out... and then Karen and Corey decide that they're going out. So yeah... now you guys know.  And Corey still owes Karen and I a story... because he heard our stories. Well... Karen's... haha. Best morning EVER!  --end edit--

Soooooooooo... gettin back into the habit of daily updates, I guess... Well, maybe just because myspace is down. APUSH... got our tests back... finally. I GOT A FREAKING 96%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW THAT happened, I don't know. Didn't even read the chapters... I studied, but never read the chapters... I dunno... probably because we went over the stuff in class so much... and I actually remembered some stuff from 8th grade... Definitely thought I killed the essay, but I only got 4 points taken off... so that's pretty sweet. Still ended up with a B in the class, but it was an 87.5... so that's pretty good. I suck at history, and compared to last year when Mr.Smith told us all the questions that would be on the test and then gave us time to study right before?? Yeah. I thought was gonna get an 89.6 in APUSH, but... I didn't. Thought I had a 12/12 on this one quiz, but I really got a 9/12... so I have an 87.5 in the class... STILL pretty sweet considering I thought I'd only get an 82-84... I might just be able to bring that grade up to an A this marking period. Physics... benchmark = Thursday... fun. Worked with Kelly and Amie today... I was writing them notes, ahaha Kelly was like, "Well I know you fantasize about CA......." ahahhaaa... and so I just went to their table. AND WE CAN HAVE A FREAKING NOTECARD for the benchmark!!! Yeah, definitely gonna write the inclined plane stuff on it... and the forces... I actually understand everything now... I think. So that's good. Kelly + Ryan + Amie = awesome teachers. Yeahhhhhh. Spanish... worked on our debates... wrote our intro out... and Erin and I know what we're gonna say for the arguments. We're moving along.  Oh man, and after lunch, Fawna came with me on the jungle gym thing... yeahhhhh!!! It was so cool. Seminar... hahaa basically, "partner work" the whole time... = Erin and I talked and wrote notes the whole class. Yeahhhhhhhh. HAAHhahaaaaaa omg... so I  went to talk to Rachel/Jamie... and when I talk to them accross the room, they both talk at once... and Rachel wasn't all happy like normal... I told Jamie to kinda hit the back of her head gently or something... so he did. Then Rachel turns around and slaps him in the face. aahahhaaaaaaaaaaa omg it was the freaking funniest thing ever. Hmmm... played Jepordy some... lmao my team got both "random 100 point double jepordy questions"... so we won... by over 200 points. Niceeeeeee.  And now... it's time for me to get my snack!!!!!!!!!!!! and... start my homework... I heard the AP Chem only takes like an hour... sweeeeet, not like normal. Oh, and I heard it's really easy. Um... score???? Psh, and no freaking AP English... and... haha like 10 pre-calc problems... which I have no idea how to do.

Oh yeah... and my nose is really stuffed up... and I can't breathe out of it. >.<

--edit--Blog on myspace. Have to do my freakin seminarrrrrrrrrrr homework. ksdrja93w4asldi --end edit--

I feel... I don't know what I feel. I guess... shocked. I'm not happy, nor can I really say that I'm sad... just... shocked. I don't even feel like explaining... but I might just be making a blog about it on myspace. I dunno. Worked on my homework all day yesterday, until midnight. My parents + sister were at the Redskins game... and didn't get home until 1am. So... I was tired as crap today... running on 6 hours of sleep. OMG I HAVE AN 89.7 IN MATH!!!!!!!!!!!! I GOT A FREAKIN A!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Yeah... meaning 4.19 gpa. Heck yeahhhhhhhh!! Anyway... woke up in lunch, curtosey of Amber, who brought me Amie's clarinet today!!!!!!!! Nathan is in my lunch today now, too! And he sits with us!  Art... finished our perspective drawings... mine looked like crap and a half. And... whatever, I finished my AP Chem lab write-up... And AP Chem... took notes and went over the test... = me daydreaming... about random things. ha. Orchestra...... talked to Tim Kim! And... Karen, Ryan and Cameron ran away from me! >=p Annnnnnnd... had a nice walk/conversation with Erica, omg I love her, "Oh shit she's coming, run away, run away!! Ok, we lost her. Man, that took a long time!" (Referring to Amanda Ruffin.......) Had sectionals with the first violins... I kinda switch between first and second... however I'm feeling (which so far has been first violin... surprisingly). I was gonna stay with the seconds... and Erica wanted me to, but Liz made me go with her and Brianna... ran into a pole........ "I'm not amazing!" "WE SUCK!!!" ahahaaaaaa best secional ever.  Yeah... so then I come home and... find stuff out. It's not even that it's bad... just that it's scary. I am scared. I'm completely scared. We got back our personal essays in english today... got a 40... out of I don't know what... I think 40. I reread that... then I found this out... and it's just... you're so completely helpless, you can't decide, nor do you know when it's your time to go. You don't know when someone will leave you. I've found that out the hard way... and it could have happened again today. Maybe I'll explain later... I don't know.

Why I <3 Clay reason # 235

^So... not really 235... just picked a ranom number. ha. Anyway... article...

"I'm not a fan of Clay Aiken's music. But that's OK. As a 40-year-old male, I'm not exactly his target demographic. I accepted his publicist's offer of an interview because millions of people do like him. A lot.

Besides, judging from the interviews I've read, the 26-year-old "American Idol" runner-up seemed like someone with a healthy sense of himself. So I figured a playful interview would work for both of us.

Things began on a bad foot, however, when his manager got on the line and indicated that Aiken would only be available for 10 minutes. A good Q&A requires at least 15, I explained.

Things got much worse when Aiken hung up two-thirds into this interview, because he didn't feel playful.

I was wrong, it turns out. A good Q&A requires only eight minutes.

Q: Hi, Clay. Where are you right now?
A: I'm in L.A., at rehearsals.
Q: This is your second Christmas tour. Tell me some of what's different about it.
A: It's got a little more theatrical element to it this year. We did an orchestra tour last year. This year we opted to forgo the onstage orchestra and instead use actors and dancers and give it more of a Christmas-y feel, with a story line and a little more activity on stage.
Q: What's the story line?
A: It's got a very typical, traditional Christmas feel to it. I can't tell you too much without giving too much away. It's not "A Christmas Carol" in any way, but there's this character who's not necessarily in the Christmas spirit, and another character helps bring that Christmas spirit back to her.
Q: Is this going to be a regular thing, the Christmas tour?
A: We'd like to continue doing it every year. It's always been my favorite [tour] to do.
Q: Do you want to be the new Burl Ives or something?
A: I don't know. He became a household name and made his mark on American society, so I wouldn't have a problem with that.
Q: Like Burl, you seem to be more popular as a seasonal artist than as a nonseasonal one. I noticed that "Measure of a Man" (Aiken's 2003 CD) is selling used for 75 cents on Amazon.com, while "Merry Christmas With Love" (his 2004 CD) is selling for a full $6.29.
A: Um, well, I think, it's newer. And as we get close to the holiday season, we sell more. But when we put another album out next year, I'm sure it'll change just a little bit.
Q: Ever consider a Hanukkah album? You can call it "Made It Out of Clay."
A: I kind of doubt that'll happen. (laughs)
Q: So why do the chicks dig you so much?
A: I have absolutely no idea. They didn't dig me back when I was in North Carolina. Nowadays when they scream my name because they want to see me or talk to me, I'm kind of surprised. I don't understand it completely.
Q: Does it bother you when people say you didn't work for your fame?
A: No, it doesn't bother me at all because, without a doubt, I've probably worked harder than a lot of people do who've done this, because 'Idol' is not a walk in the park at all. And then trying to get rid of the stigma and trying to maintain any type of momentum off of that show is probably just as hard, if not harder, than someone who comes up a different way.
Q: What would you be doing if not for "American Idol" right now?
A: Teaching, probably. I spent two or three years teaching in an elementary school, so I'm sure I'd continue to do that and maybe one day try to aspire to do something more -- maybe be a principal or something like that.
Q: Do the ex-Idols have a clique -- like a Brat Pack that hangs out?
A: I stay in touch with Ruben (Studdard) and Kimberly Locke from my season, and I'm friends with Kelly (Clarkson) because we toured together. But for the most part, we've all kind of gone our separate ways.
Q: What do you make of that Corey guy and Paula Abdul?
A: Um, I'm not talking about that. You know something? I think that's kind of immature. I'm not gonna get into that whole scandal. There's no reason to discuss that.
Q: Do you think anyone would fool around with Simon Cowell, even to win?
A: You know what? I think we're finished. (click)"

Ahhhhhhhh, amazing. "There's no reason to discuss that." Thank you. And I absolutely love how Clay, the 27 year old (almost) is way more mature than the 40 year old. I think it's great that Clay refused to talk about those things... the last question though? Completely uncalled for. I'm glad Clay hung up. It's wonderful to know that not all guys think about sex 24/7. Jeez.
